While we were watching practice we met Jarrad Trent, the brother of cornerback #25 Morgan Trent’s brother.  Jarrad was a really cool guy and he promised to get us Morgan’s autograph after practice.  Jarrad also introduced us to Leon Hall.

After practice was over the players stayed on the field for a long time and signed autographs.  We got autographs from Terrell Owens, Chad Ochocinco, Jordan Shipley, Bobbie Williams, Tank Johnson, Dhani Jones, Cedric Benson and more!

Week 2 – Bengals handle the Packers with a score of 31-24 making their record 1-1.

Week 3- Bengals finally beat the Steelers with a score of 23-20 making their record 2-1.

Week 4 – A boring game but the Bengals won in overtime against the Browns with a score of 23-20 changing their record to 3-1.

Week 5 – Bengals are on a roll in the AFC north and they beat the Ravens 17-14.

Week 6 – Should have been an easy win but turned out to be a hard loss to the Texans with a score of 28-17.

Week 7 – Finally a blow out!! The Bengals kill the Bears 45-10 raising their record to 5-2.

Week 8 – Bye Week

Week 9 – Cedric Benson leads the Bengals to a record of 6-2 defeating the Ravens 17-7 – Chris Henry broke his arm in this game, too.

Week 10 – For the first time the Bengals defeated the Steelers twice in the AFC North Division match-up with a score of 18-12 and a record of 7-2.

Week 11 – A very disappointing loss to the Raiders 20-17 but the Bengals got lucky because Pittsburgh lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on the same day which kept the Bengals in the lead for the AFC North.

Week 12 – Bengals sweep the AFC North defeating the Browns 16-7 and taking their record to 8-3.

Week 13 – The Bengals took advantage of an easy win and beat the Lions 23-13.

Week 14 – The Vikings crushed the Bengals 30-10 and their record became 9-4.

Week 15 – Another loss on the road, this time at the hands of the Chargers 27-24

Week 16 - It was a close game but in the end the Bengals beat Kansas City, 17-10.

Week 17 – The Bengals didn’t want to win and succeeded, losing to the Jets 37-0, taking their record to 10-6.

Week 18 – Play-offs – A disappointing, season-ending loss to the Jets with a score of 24-14.

The Bengals ended the season with 10 wins and 6 losses.  2009 was a better season than 2008 but I expect better in 2010.  Injuries hurt us – Reggie Kelly, Chris Henry, Antwan Odom,  Ray Maualuga – we missed them all.  I hope our offense comes alive next season.  Our defense is one of the best in the league but our offense needs to score more points to bring home more wins.  I hope we draft Golden Tate, the wide receiver from Notre Dame, or another good wide receiver.  We need another big play guy to help Carson Palmer and Chad Ochocinco bring the offense alive.  I’m looking for big things in 2010.  2009 was a great season to be a Bengals fan.  Go Bengals!  WHO DEY!!!!!

Palmer has to hit his wide receivers in stride and ear out the defensive backs.  Chad Ochocinco can’t get too cocky and play terrible because Revis is a really good corner.  Also, the Jets defense is ranked number one and Palmer is going to make them look stupid.

Benson didn’t get to play against the Jets last week so he is going to come ready to play.  #32 has to be a factor up the middle and outside.  Benson needs to leave everything on the field just like he has all year.  The O-line has to open holes for Benson so he can get easy yards.

I think the defense will shut down the Jets running and throwing game.  The Jets wild cat might have worked last week but not this week.  Mark Sanchez is a rookie and he is no match for Jonathan Joseph.  I see the Bengals having a lot of picks.

I know the Bengals are going to the second round of the play-offs  Go Bengals!  Who Dey!

Carson Palmer is going to be a leader and take control of this game.  He will also hit receivers in stride and let the receivers do their job.  Palmer needs to use his feet when no one is open.

Cedric Benson is going to blow through the Kansas City’s defense.  The offensive line needs to create big holes for Benson and he will take advantage of them.  When we go to play action pass, #32 needs to sell the fake to give Palmer more time in the pocket.

Cincinnati’s defense is going to handle Kansas City’s offense and have at least two picks.  Dhani Jones need to bring a big game like he did last week against the Chargers.  The defensive backs have to control Dwayne Bow and the rest of the Chiefs receivers and hold them to no big gains.

Carson Palmer needs to become a leader and get on the guys  in the huddle that make the stupid mistakes like false starts, holding, and missed blocks.  Palmer had one of his best games in a long time. He had 40 attempts, 27 completions, 314 yards and 2 touch downs. Those are some pretty good stats too bad it wasn’t enough:(

I know Benson didn’t have his best game Sunday but the offensive line didn’t help much either.  But Benson still ran really hard and bruised up the Charger defense. He had 15 carries for 53 total yards 53 and a 3.5 yard per carry average.

The defense did great holding the Chargers running game but the Bengals let them pass to freely.  Cincinnati had two picks on one of the best quarter backs in the league – good job Jonathan Joseph and Keith Rivers.  The defense did their job until the fourth when they had to stop the Charger offense but couldn’t.

I know Chad Ochocinco planned his touch down celebration but I still am glad he did it.   The Bengals need to step up their game and win the next two to get the best position in the play-offs.  Cincinnati plays Kansas City on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Palmer has to hit his wide receivers in stride so they can do what they do – make catches and get yards after completion.  #9 can not make stupid mistakes and give the Chargers to ball.  Although Palmer struggled against the Vikings, I know he can dominate today.

Benson has and will blow through the Chargers defense.  I want to see #32 run through the big holes and get those extra yards.  He can not fumble the ball or give the San Diego any easy breaks.

The Bengals defense needs to buckle down and crush the Chargers offense.  Cincinnati has to cause Philip Rivers to make mistakes and lose his confidence.  LaDainian Tomlinson must be stopped.  L. T. better have bruises all over his body after this game.

The Bengals won a game for Mike Zimmer’s wife and now they are going to win for Chris Henry.  Did you hear Chad Ochocinco may wear #15 in memory of Henry?  So if you see #15 on the field don’t say I didn’t tell you.

Palmer needs to be a leader and pump up the offense and defense.  I’m looking for Palmer and Chad Ochocinco to hook up many times during the Lions game.  Palmer will wear out Detroit’s defensive backs.

Benson is back this week and he is going to run all over the Lion’s defense.  #32 is coming off a hip injury but the offensive line will help him a lot by opening up some big holes.  I’m expecting to see Bernard Scott, Larry Johnson and Brian Leonard running up the yards, too.

Cincinnati’s defense is going to control the Lion’s offense.  Matthew Stafford shouldn’t even be able to drop back before getting sacked.  The Bengals defensive backs should have at least one pick.  The linebackers are going to stuff the Lions running backs right in their tracks.

The Bengals can and will beat the Lions.  Palmer, Benson and the defense are going to control the game.  Go Bengals!  Who Dey!

Marvin Lewis made a smart move playing Larry Johnson more.  L. J. ran the ball great.  He had 107 yards with only 22 carries and his average was 4.9 yards a carry.  L. J. is really improving the Bengals offense while Cedric Benson is out with a hip problem.

Carson Palmer ran the offense pretty well.  The tackle by Robert Gathers right before the half was really dirty.  I was afraid that Palmer was hurt.  It was a stupid move on Gathers’ part.  All Palmer was doing was trying to run out-of-bounds to end the half.  When Gathers horse collared Palmer the 15 yard penalty put Cincinnati in field goal range.  Shayne Graham nailed his kick from 53 yards and put three more point on the board before the half.

Palmer moved the ball around well.  But he really needs to step up and take control during these last few games.  Palmer is a one of the top ten quarterbacks in the league and I want to see him dominate the game like I know he can.

Cincinnati’s defense played strong.  But the defensive line has to put more pressure on the quarterback.  The Bengals defensive backs really disrupted Brady Quinn and his wide receivers.  The defense played a huge part in the win by not allowing the Browns to get into a groove the whole game.

The Bengals are in great shape thanks to a Steelers loss against the Ravens on Sunday night.  With a record of 8-3, Cincinnati needs to beat the Chiefs, Lions, Chargers and Jets to have a chance for a bye in week one of the play-offs!

Palmer and Chad Ochocinco are going to steal the show today on offense.  Palmer has been doing great using his feet so far this season and today I want to see him running when he is open.  I would also like to see Palmer throwing the ball to the tight ends on the short routes.  If Palmer comes out hot and ends hot the game will be a blowout.

The Bengals defense has to put pressure on Brady Quinn.  The Browns quarterback should be sacked a number of times and hit even more.  The Bengals defensive backs are going to have at least two picks and a bunch of knocked down passes.  The defense has to play well after the Raiders game ended in a loss last week.

I would love to see Marvin Lewis use Larry Johnson to mix up the offense.  I also really hope Cedric Benson will be able to play today.  But if Benson is not ready to come back, Bernard Scott will run all over the Browns defense.

In the AFC North today, The Steelers play the Ravens.  The Ravens should win because the Steelers have to use  Dennis Dixon, their third string quarterback.  Roethlisberger has a concussion and their second string quarterback, Charlie Batch,  broke his wrist after four plays last week.  If the Steelers lose to the Ravens tonight and the Bengal win today the Bengals will be up on the Steelers by two games for the division battle.
