My first OSU game
I went to the OSU/ USC game with my Grandma Tui on Saturday. She graduated from OSU. We went to the game for my 12th birthday! First we went to the Skull Session (here’s a YouTube video of the Skull Session)and we saw the band play a little music. It was loud and cool.
Then the players came out at the Skull Session and Jim Tressel gave a speech. He said, “We’re waiting, they’re waiting . . .”
Next, we walked around campus and it is huge!

Then, finally, it was game time. We went to the Horseshoe. We were sitting in the south section. All the different cheers were awesome. Our section was usually the first “O” in the “O-H-I-O” cheer.
The first drive of the game, OSU had a good drive going and then Terrelle Pryor threw an interception that got run back to the 2 yard line. USC ended up scoring. Then OSU drove down the field and scored. I was cheering a lot when the Bucks scored. The game was tied 10-10 by halftime. We held them and when USC went to punt it was a bad snap and OSU got a safety. When we got the ball back we charged down the field and kicked in a field goal to make the score OSU 15 and USC 10. In the last few minutes of the game USC scored a touchdown and also made the 2 point conversion. That made the score 18-15. OSU took possession and there was a corner blitz and the wide receiver was wide open but Terrelle Pryor missed an open opportunity for a pass. I’ve played QB for 5 years and it’s hard, you’ve got to read the defense before the play is even called to see if there’s going to be a blitz. I feel bad for Pryor. BUT – my first Buckeyes game rocked and I’ll never forget it. Too bad the Bucks lost. Thanks, Grandma!

Glad You had a good time J.P….!!!!!!!!
