Unbelievable!

We played a good game.  We were down 7-1 against the Miami Playmakers when the rain stopped the game on Tuesday.  It was the bottom of the 3rd when the game started Wednesday morning.  I was pitching and I struck out the first batter.  But the man on 3rd scored, making it 8-1.  In the 4th and 5th innings our bats came alive and by the 6th we were tied 8-8.  Genesis hit one and Red score to make it 9-8!!!!!  The Riverbats are leading for the first time in the game!!  Bottom of the 6th and I’m still pitching.  The first Playmaker up is their #1 batter.  He hits it and Luke makes a jumping catch for the 1st out.  The next player up to bat hits a straight up pop-fly and the catcher makes the play – way to go Alex.  Two outs down and one to go.  I walk the #3 batter.  The ump doesn’t like my low strike.  The #4 batter hits a home run off my fast ball.  And it’s over.  Unbelievable!!  Heartbreaking!!!!!!
